Evaluating Groundwater Resources and Groundwater-Surface-Water Interactions in the Context of Adapting to Climate Change

The aim of the project is to extend regional cooperation (22 European and Asian countries) in the field of the application of tracer methods in sustainable water management. Our participation in the project will be related to the continuation of the work in the Kocinka river basin initiated in the BONUS SOILS2SEA project and to assisting partners from Russia and Ukraine in carrying out similar studies in their river basins.
An important element of the project is the dissemination of a new method for determining the isotopic composition of nitrogen and oxygen in the nitrate ion by reducing it to Ti(III).
